Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9780 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»

Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Humayd al-Razi, from Harun ibn al-Mughirah, from Amr ibn Abi Qays, from al-Hajjaj, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'A person will be with those whom he loves.'
