الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from al-Thawri - and someone who heard him narrating told me - from Mansur and Mughirah and al-A'mash, from Ibrahim that a man named Abdullah ibn Unays took an oath of abstinence from his wife, and four months passed before he had relations with her. Then he had relations with her after the four months while not remembering his oath. He came to Alqamah ibn Qays and mentioned this to him. They went to Ibn Mas'ud and asked him, and he said: 'She has become irrevocably separated from you, so propose to her anew.' So he proposed to her and gave her a ratl (unit of weight) of silver as her dowry.
