Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:922 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْخَشَّابُ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا جَنْدَلُ بْنُ وَالِقٍ قَالَا ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُضَحِّيَ اشْتَرَى كَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى وَخَطَبَ دَعَا بِأَحَدِهِمَا وَهُوَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ فَذَبَحَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ هَذَا عَنْ أُمَّتِي جَمِيعًا مَنْ شَهِدَ لَكَ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ وَشَهِدَ لِي بِالْبَلَاغِ» ثُمَّ أَتَى الْآخَرَ فَذَبَحَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ هَذَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Rafi' narrated: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) intended to sacrifice, he would buy two horned, black-and-white rams. After he prayed and gave his sermon, he would call for one while in his prayer place and slaughter it, then say: "O Allah, this is on behalf of my entire nation — whoever testified to Your oneness and testified to my conveying." Then he would come to the other and slaughter it, then say: "O Allah, this is on behalf of Muhammad and his household."
