Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8886 [Machine] Indeed, your Lord—Exalted is He—has neither night nor day; the light of the heavens and the earth is from the light of His Face. And the measure of each day of your days with Him is twelve hours. So your deeds from yesterday are presented to Him at the beginning of today’s day, and He looks into them for three hours; then He sees in them what He dislikes, and that angers Him. The first to know of His غضب (wrath) are the Bearers of the Throne; they praise Him, and it weighs heavily upon them. Then the Bearers of the Throne, the curtains/canopies of the Throne, the angels brought near, and the rest of the angels glorify Him. Then Jibrīl ﷺ blows the horn, and nothing remains except that it hears its sound, and they glorify the Most Merciful—Exalted is He—for three hours, until the Most Merciful is filled with mercy; that makes six hours.
