Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7544 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خُلَيْدٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُدَافِعُ لِأَصْحَابِهِ اقْرَءُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ الْبَقَرَةَ وَسُورَةَ آلِ عِمْرَانَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَأْتِيَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ غَيَايَتَانِ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافٍّ يُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ أَصْحَابِهِمَا اقْرَءُوا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Umamah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, 'Recite the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection defending its companions. Recite the two radiant ones: al-Baqarah and Surah Al Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading on behalf of their companions. Recite Surah al-Baqarah, for holding fast to it is a blessing, abandoning it is a regret, and the sorcerers cannot withstand it.'
