Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7212 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ وَعَلَيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالَا ثنا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ نِمْرَانُ بْنُ مِخْمَرٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ شَرِبَهَا الثَّانِيَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ شَرِبَهَا الثَّالِثَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ فَإِنْ شَرِبَهَا الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Shall I not tell you of something by which Allah wipes away sins and raises ranks? They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Performing ablution thoroughly despite difficulties, walking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer. That is your ribat (guarding the frontier).'
