Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7154 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا أَيُّوبُ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَأَبْصَرَ رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Shaddad ibn Aws said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'O Messenger of Allah, I fear most for my Ummah shirk (polytheism) and hidden desires.' The Prophet said: 'Will my Ummah commit shirk?' He said: 'They will not worship the sun or the moon or stones, but they will show off in their deeds (riya').'
