Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6399 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ الْأَفْطَسِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِنَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ قُلْ لِي قَوْلًا أَنْتَفِعُ بِهِ وَأَقْلِلْ لَعَلِّي أَعْقِلُهُ؟ فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَغْضَبْ» فَعَاوَدَهُ مِرَارًا يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَغْضَبُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sufyan ibn 'Abdullah al-Thaqafi said: "I said to the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him): 'O Prophet of Allah, tell me something that will benefit me, and make it brief so that I may understand it.' The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not get angry.' He repeated his question several times, and the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) kept saying: 'Do not get angry.'"
