Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6272 حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلْطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَيْنٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَجَلَسَ يَتَحَدَّثُ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِهِ ثُمَّ انْسَلَّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اطْلُبُوهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ» فَسَبَقْتُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَتَلْتُهُ وَأَخَذْتُ سَلَبَهُ فَنَفَّلَنِي إِيَّاهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' narrated that a man ate with his left hand in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), so he said: "Eat with your right hand." The man said: "I cannot." He said: "May you never be able to!" — Nothing prevented him except arrogance. He said: "So he was never able to raise it to his mouth after that."
