Zayd ibn Harithah ibn Sharahil al-Kalbi — the beloved of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) adopted him and he was called Zayd ibn Muhammad until Allah revealed: "Call them by their fathers — that is more just in the sight of Allah" (33:5).
