Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4436 حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُفَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ «مَنَعَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نُكْرِيَ الْمَحَاقِلَ» وَالْمَحَاقِلُ فُضُولٌ يَكُونُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If two men come to you, judge between them. Do not judge for one until you hear the words of the other, for soon you will know how to judge." 'Ali said: "After that, I never ceased to be a (good) judge."
