Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4018 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ فَحَدَّثَ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَنَّهُ «§مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ مَرَّةً أَوْ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ كَانَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ يَعْدِلُ رَقَبَةً أَوْ عَشَرَ رِقَابٍ» قُلْتُ مِمَّنُ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قَالَ مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَ فَقُلْتُ مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قَالَ مِنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Sha'bi said: "We were with al-Rabi' ibn Khuthaym, and he narrated that day: 'Whoever says: There is no deity except Allah, alone, without partner; to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise; He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things — once or ten times — that will be equivalent to freeing one or ten slaves.' I asked: 'From whom did you hear it?' He said: 'From 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla.' So I went to him, and he narrated it. I asked: 'From whom did you hear it?' He said: 'From Abu Ayyub, narrating from the Prophet (peace be upon him).'"
