Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3998a حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشْبَحِ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَفِيفِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَرَضِيَ عَنْهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي الْمَسْجِدَ فَيُدْرِكُ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةَ أَيُعِيدُها مَعَ النَّاسِ أَمْ لَا؟ قَدْ سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ يُعِيدُهَا ذَلِكَ لَهُ سَهْمُ جَمْعٍ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub ibn 'Afif ibn al-Musayyab asked Abu Ayyub, the companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), about a man who prays in his house then comes to the mosque and finds that prayer being offered — should he repeat it with the people or not? He said: "We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about that, and he said: 'Yes, he should repeat it. That counts for him as the share of the congregation.'"
