Zayd ibn Thabit said: 'When we were writing the Mushafs (copies of the Quran), I noticed a verse missing that I used to hear from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I found it with Khuzaymah ibn Thabit al-Ansari: "Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Of them, some have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have not changed in the least" [33:23].' He said: 'And Khuzaymah was called Dhu al-Shahadatayn (the one whose testimony equals two).'
