Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2767 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ يَعْفُورٍ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ فَرَأَى الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُكَ عَلَى يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ خَضَّبْتَهَا دَمًا حِينَ أَتَى بِكَ حِينَ وُلِدْتَ فَسَررَّكَ ولَفَّكَ فِي خِرْقَةٍ وَلَقَدْ تَفَلَ فِي فِيكَ وَتَكَلَّمَ بِكَلَامٍ مَا أَدْرِي مَا هَوَ وَلَقَدْ كَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ؓ سَبَقَتْهُ بِقَطْعِ سُرَّةِ الْحَسَنِ ؓ فَقَالَ «لَا تَسْبِقِينِي بِهَا»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Bishr ibn Ghalib said: I was with Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) when he saw al-Husayn ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "O Abu 'Abdullah, I saw you in the hands of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) — you had stained them with blood when you were brought to him at birth. He cut your cord, wrapped you in a cloth, spat gently in your mouth, and spoke words I did not understand. Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) had preceded him in cutting the cord of al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: 'Do not precede me with it (next time).'"
