Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2717 حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السَّيْلَحِينِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَقَدْ فَقَدْتُمْ رَجُلًا لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَلَا يُدْرِكُهُ الْآخِرُونَ إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيَبْعَثُهُ فِي السَّرِيَّةِ وَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَمِيكَائِيلَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَاللهِ مَا تَرَكَ بَيْضَاءَ وَلَا صَفْرَاءَ إِلَّا ثَمَانِ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فِي ثَمَنِ خَادِمٍ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed the people and said: "O people, you have lost a man who was not preceded by the earlier ones nor will be reached by the later ones. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would send him on a military expedition, Jibril (Gabriel) would be on his right and Mika'il (Michael) on his left. By Allah, he did not leave behind any gold or silver except eight hundred dirhams set aside for the price of a servant."
