Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2505 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَبُو عَوْنٍ الزِّيَادِيُّ ثنا حَرْبُ بْنُ سُرَيْجٍ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ شَهِدْنَا الْمَوْسِمَ فِي حَجَّةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِي حَجَّةُ الْوَدَاعِ فَبَلَغْنَا مَكَانًا يُقَالُ لَهُ غَدِيرُ خُمٍّ فَنَادَى الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةً فَاجْتَمَعْنَا الْمُهَاجِرُونَ وَالْأَنْصَارُ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَسْطَنَا فَقَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسِ بِمَ تَشْهَدُونَ؟» قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ «ثُمَّ مَهْ؟» قَالُوا وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ قَالَ «فَمَنْ وَلِيُّكُمْ؟» قَالُوا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مَوْلَانَا قَالَ «مَنْ وَلِيُّكُمْ؟» ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى عَضُدِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَأَقَامَهُ فَنَزَعَ عَضُدَهُ فَأَخَذَ بِذِرَاعَيْهِ فَقَالَ «مَنْ يَكُنِ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مَوْلَيَاهُ فَإِنَّ هَذَا مَوْلَاهُ اللهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ اللهُمَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَكُنْ لَهُ حَبِيبًا وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُ فَكُنْ لَهُ مُبْغِضًا اللهُمَّ إِنِّي لَا أَجِدُ أَحَدًا أَسْتَوْدِعُهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ الْعَبْدَيْنِ الصَّالِحَيْنِ غَيْرَكَ فَاقْضِ فِيهِ بِالْحُسْنَى» قَالَ بِشْرٌ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَيْنِ الْعَبْدَيْنِ الصَّالِحَيْنِ؟ قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jarir said: We attended the pilgrimage season during a Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) — the Farewell Pilgrimage. We reached a place called Ghadir Khumm. He called for a congregational prayer, and the Emigrants and the Ansar gathered. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood among us and said: "O people, what do you testify to?" They said: "We testify that there is no god but Allah." He said: "Then what?" They said: "And that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." He said: "Then who is your guardian?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger are our guardians." He said: "Who is your guardian?" Then he struck the upper arm of 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), raised him up, took hold of his forearm and said: "Whoever has Allah and His Messenger as his guardians, then this one is his guardian. O Allah, befriend whoever befriends him and be an enemy to whoever is his enemy. O Allah, whoever loves him among the people, be his beloved, and whoever hates him, hate him. O Allah, I find no one to whom I can entrust him on earth after the two righteous servants other than You, so decree for him the best." Bishr said: I asked, "Who are these two righteous servants?" He said: "I do not know."
