Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2239 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَمَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jabir said: "We set out on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). A man from the Ansar came to us and complained of exhaustion. He then killed himself. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Would that he had not killed himself.' He said: 'He is a man who used to fight zealously in the cause of Allah, but this is from the matter of Allah.'"
