Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2126 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الْجَارُودِ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ لِي دِينًا فَلِي إِنْ تَرَكْتُ دِينِي وَدَخَلْتُ دِينَكَ أَنْ لَا يُعَذِّبَنِي اللهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jabir ibn Samurah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered the stoning of Ma'iz ibn Malik. Three days later, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) mentioned him and said good of him. He said: 'Why did you not let him go? Perhaps he would have repented and Allah would have accepted his repentance.'"
