Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1307 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمً الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ ثَابِتَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ وَقَدْ تَحَنَّطَ وَنَشَرَ أَكْفَانَهُ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكَ مِمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ هَؤُلَاءِ وَأَعْتَذِرُ مِمَّا صَنَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَقُتِلَ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ دِرْعٌ فَسُرِقَتْ فَرَآهُ رَجُلٌ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ» فَقَالَ «إِنَّ دِرْعِي فِي قِدْرٍ تَحْتَ الْكَانُونِ فِي مَكَانِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَأَوْصَاهُ بِوَصَايَا فَطَلَبُوا الدِّرْعَ فَوَجَدُوهَا وَأَنْفَذُوا الْوَصَايَا»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Thabit ibn Qays came on the Day of Yamamah having perfumed himself and spread out his shroud, and said: "O Allah, I disassociate myself before You from what these people (the apostates) have brought, and I seek Your pardon from what these people (the retreating Muslims) have done." He was then killed. He had an armor that was stolen. A man saw him in a dream, and Thabit said: "My armor is in a pot under the brazier in such-and-such place." He also gave some bequests. They searched for the armor and found it, and they carried out the bequests.
