Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12248 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَظُنُّهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ الْجَنَّةَ سَأَلَ عَنْ أَبَوَيْهِ وَزَوْجَتِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ فَيُقَالُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا دَرَجَتَكَ وعَمَلَكَ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ قَدْ عَمِلْتُ لِي وَلَهُمْ فَيُؤْمَرُ بإِلْحاقِهِمْ بِهِ وَقَرَأَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ {وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ} إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated, attributing it to the Prophet ♂ (he thinks), who said: "When a man enters Paradise, he will ask about his parents, his wife, and his children. It will be said: 'They did not reach your degree and your deeds.' He will say: 'O Lord, I worked for myself and for them.' Then they will be commanded to join him." And Ibn Abbas recited: {And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith} to the end of the verse.
