Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11992 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْحَرِيرِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «قَضَى فِي الْمُكَاتَبِ أَنْ يُؤَدِّيَ بِقَدْرِ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ دِيَةَ الْحُرِّ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ruled regarding the mukatab (partially freed slave) that he pays blood money in proportion to what he has freed — the blood money of a free person.
