Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11845 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا رَأَى الصُّوَرَ فِي الْبَيْتِ يَعْنِي الْكَعْبَةَ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ حَتَّى أَمَرَ بِهَا فَمُحِيَتْ وَرَأَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ بِأَيْدِيهِمَا الْأَزْلَامُ فَقَالَ «قَاتَلَهُمُ اللهُ وَاللهِ مَا اسْتَقْسَمَا بِالْأَزْلَامِ قَطُّ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas reported that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw images in the House (the Ka'bah), he did not enter until he ordered them to be erased. He saw images of Ibrahim and Isma'il with divining arrows in their hands and said: 'May Allah destroy them! By Allah, they never practiced divination with arrows.'
