Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11673 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الْعَصْرَ ثَلَاثًا وَنَسِي وَاحِدَةً فَانْصَرَفَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ يُسَمَّى ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَقُصَتِ الصَّلَاةُ؟ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكَ؟» قَالَ صَلَّيْتَ ثَلَاثًا فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ فَخَرَجَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ كَانُوا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ «أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟» قَالُوا وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «يَزْعُمُ أَنِّي صَلَّيْتُ ثَلَاثًا» قَالُوا صَدَقَ فَظَنَنَّا أَنَّكَ أُمِرْتَ فِي ذَلِكَ بِأَمْرٍ «فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed the Asr prayer with them as three rak'ahs, forgetting one. He left and entered upon one of his wives. A companion named Dhul-Shimalayn came to him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened?' He said: 'What do you mean?' He said: 'You prayed three rak'ahs.' He took his hand and went out to the people who were with him and said: 'Is Dhul-Yadayn telling the truth?' They said: 'What is it, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'He claims I prayed three rak'ahs.' They said: 'He is telling the truth. We thought you had been commanded regarding that.' He then prayed one rak'ah with them and performed two prostrations of forgetfulness.
