Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11618 حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ مَاتَتْ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَظُنُّهُ سَمَّاهَا صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَسَجَدَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَتَسْجُدُ وَلَمَّا تَطْلُعِ الشَّمْسُ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَا أُمَّ لَكَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْآيَةَ فَاسْجُدُوا» وأيَّةُ آيَةٍ أَعْظَمُ منْ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَخْرُجْنَ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَظْهُرِنَا وَنَحْنُ أَحْيَاءٌ؟
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated that Ikrimah said: One of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) died — Ishaq said: I think he named her Safiyyah bint Huyayy — in Madinah. I came to Ibn Abbas and informed him, and he prostrated. I said to him: 'You prostrate before the sun has risen?' Ibn Abbas said: 'Woe to you! Do you not know that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When you see a sign, prostrate? And what sign is greater than the Mothers of the Believers departing from among us while we are still alive?'
