Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10992 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُنِيبِ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَطَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَمْسٌ بِخَمْسٍ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا خَمْسٌ بِخَمْسٍ؟ قَالَ «مَا نَقَضَ قَوْمٌ الْعَهْدَ إِلَّا سُلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوُّهُمْ وَمَا حَكَمُوا بِغَيْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللهُ إِلَّا فَشَا فِيهِمُ الْفَقْرُ وَلَا ظَهَرَتْ فِيهِمُ الْفَاحِشَةُ إِلَّا فَشَا فِيهِمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَا طفَّفُوا الْمِكْيَالَ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا النَّبَاتَ وَأُخِذُوا بِالسِّنِينَ وَلَا مَنَعُوا الزَّكَاةَ إِلَّا حُبِسَ عَنْهُمُ الْقَطْرُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Five for five.' They asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is five for five?' He said: 'No people break their covenant except that their enemy is given power over them. No people rule by other than what Allah has revealed except that poverty spreads among them. No people among whom indecency becomes widespread except that death spreads among them. No people cheat in measures except that vegetation is withheld from them and they are struck with years of drought. And no people withhold the zakah except that rain is withheld from them.'
