Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10905 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ يَسْبِقُ الْقَدَرَ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ وَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فَاغْتَسِلُوا»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake destiny, it would be the evil eye. When you are asked to wash (to cure the evil eye), then wash.'
