Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10768 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓماُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ النَّاسِ؟ إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ النَّاسِ رَجُلٌ مُمْسِكٌ بِعِنَانِ فَرَسِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِالَّذِي يَتْلُوهُ؟ مُعْتَزِلٌ فِي غَنَمِهِ يُؤَدِّي حَقَّ اللهِ فِيهَا وَأُخْبِرُكُمْ بِشَرِّ النَّاسِ؟ رَجُلٌ يُسْأَلُ بِاللهِ وَلَا يُعْطِي بِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'Shall I not tell you about the best of people? Among the best of people is a man holding the reins of his horse in the cause of Allah. Shall I tell you about the one who follows him? A man in seclusion with his flock, fulfilling Allah's right in it. And shall I tell you about the worst of people? A man who is asked by Allah and does not give by Him.'
