Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10619 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَالِدٌ أنا عَامِرٌ الشَّعْبِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِيَ الْعَبَّاسُ أَيْ بُنَيْ إِنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَدْعُوكَ وَيُقَرِّبُكَ وَيَسْتَشِيرُكَ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَاحْفَظْ عَنِّي ثَلَاثَ خِصَالٍ اتَّقِ لَا يُجَرِّبَنَّ عَلَيْكَ كَذِبَةً وَلَا تُفْشِيَنَّ لَهُ سِرًّا وَلَا تَغْتَابَنَّ عِنْدَهُ أَحَدًا قَالَ عَامِرٌ فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ عَش��رَةِ آلَافٍ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas said: "al-Abbas said to me: 'My son, the Commander of the Faithful invites you, brings you close, and consults you with the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). So remember three qualities from me: Beware that he never catches you in a lie, do not ever reveal his secret, and do not ever backbite anyone in his presence.' 'Amir (the narrator) said: 'I said to Ibn Abbas: Each one of these is better than ten thousand.'"
