نَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ , فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:أَوَمَنْ كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ سورة الأنعام آية 122، يَقُولُ:" أَوَمَنْ كَانَ كَافِرًا فَهَدَيْنَاهُ".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'And the good land — its vegetation comes out by permission of its Lord' (al-A'raf: 58) — He said: 'This is a parable of the believer.' And regarding: 'But that which is bad — nothing comes out except sparsely' — He said: 'This is a parable of the disbeliever.'

محمد بن کعب رحمہ اللہ نے اللہ عزوجل کے فرمان﴿أَوَمَنْ كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ﴾کے بارے میں فرمایا: اس سے مراد ہے، جو شخص کافر تھا تو ہم نے اسے ہدایت دی۔۔۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 917]
