وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: كنا نعد لرسول الله، سواكه وطهوره، فيبعثه الله ما شاء أن يبعثه من الليل، فيتسوك ويتوضأ ويصلي. ((رواه مسلم)).

Hadrat 'Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) reported that we used to prepare for the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) a Miswak (tooth-stick) and the water for making Wudu'. Whenever Allah wished to awaken him from sleep at night, he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would brush his teeth with Miswak, make Wudu', and perform Salat..

حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے لیے مسواک اور وضو کا پانی تیار رکھتے تھے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ رات کو جب چاہتا آپ کو جگاتا، آپ مسواک فرماتے، وضو کرتے اور نماز پڑھتے۔
