عن جابر بن سمرة، رضي الله عنهما، قال: خرج علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: "ألا تصفون كما تصف الملائكة عند ربها؟" فقلنا: يا رسول الله وكيف تصف الملائكة عند ربها؟ قال: "يتمون الصفوف الأُول، ويتراصون في الصف" ((رواه مسلم)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came out to us (once) and said, "Why do you not stand in rows as the angels do before their Rubb?" We asked: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! how do the angels stand in rows before their Rubb?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "They complete each row beginning with the first and filling all the gaps.".
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: 'کیا تم صفیں ایسے نہیں بناتے جیسے فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے صف بندی کرتے ہیں؟' ہم نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے کیسے صف بندی کرتے ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: 'پہلی صفیں مکمل کرتے ہیں اور صف میں خوب مل کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں۔'
