وعنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله" وأحسبه قال: " وكالقائم الذي لا يفتر، وكالصائم الذي لا يفطر" ((متفق عليه)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "One who strives to help the widows and the poor is like the one who fights in the way of Allah." The narrator said: I think that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) added also: "I shall regard him as the one who stands up (for prayer) without rest and as the one who observes fasts continuously"..
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بیوہ اور مسکین کی خدمت میں لگا رہنے والا اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے والے کی طرح ہے۔ اور میرا خیال ہے کہ آپ نے یہ بھی فرمایا: اور اس قیام کرنے والے کی طرح جو تھکتا نہیں اور اس روزے دار کی طرح جو افطار نہیں کرتا۔
