أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً ثُمَّ يَقُومُ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
It is narrated that Hadrat Simak (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "I asked Hadrat Jabir: 'Did the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) deliver the Khutbah standing?' He said: 'The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to deliver the Khutbah standing, then he would sit for a while, then stand up again
الترجمة الأردية
سماک کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا: کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے، پھر آپ کچھ دیر بیٹھتے تھے پھر کھڑے ہو جاتے تھے۔
