Narrated Umm al-Mu'minin A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): Salim, the freed client (mawla) of Abu Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with them both), used to live with his household in his house, and the daughter of Suhayl came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) (i.e., the wife of Abu Hudhayfah) and said: Salim has reached the age of puberty and understands the affairs of men, and he comes into our house, and I think that Abu Hudhayfah feels displeasure about this. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Suckle Salim, so that you become unlawful to him, and thereby the displeasure in Abu Hudhayfah's heart will depart." Then she came again and said: I suckled him, and thereby the displeasure of Abu Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) departed. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 880]
الترجمة الأردية
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہسالم مولیٰ ابوحذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہما ان کے اہل خانہ ان کے گھر میں رہتے تھے اور سہیل کی بیٹی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آئیں (یعنی ابوحذیفہ کی بیوی) اور عرض کیا کہ سالم حد بلوغ کو پہنچ گیا اور مردوں کی باتیں سمجھنے لگا ہے اور وہ ہمارے گھر میں آتا ہے اور میں خیال کرتی ہوں کہ ابوحذیفہ کے دل میں اس بارہ میں ناپسندیدگی ہے۔ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم سالم کو دودھ پلا دو کہ تم اس پر حرام ہو جاؤ اس سے وہ ناگواری جو ابوحذیفہ کے دل میں ہے، جاتی رہے گی۔ پھر وہ دوبارہ آئیں اور عرض کیا کہ میں نے اس کو دودھ پلا دیا تھا جس سے ابوحذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی ناگواری جاتی رہی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 880]
