Narrated Umm al-Mu'minin A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): Rifa'ah al-Qurazi gave his wife a final (irrevocable, non-revocable) divorce, so she (his wife) married Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him). Then she came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and inquired: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! I was in the marriage of Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he gave me the last of three divorces, so I married Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him). And she took hold of the fringe of her garment and said: By Allah, what he has is only like this fringe (i.e., useless). The narrator said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) smiled (on hearing her words) and said: "Perhaps you wish to return to Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him). No, that cannot happen until he tastes your sweetness and you taste his sweetness (i.e., until you have intercourse)." (At that time) Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and Khalid ibn Sa'id ibn al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) was at the door of the chamber awaiting permission. The narrator says: Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) called out to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him): Why do you not rebuke this woman for what she is saying before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہرفاعہ القرضی نے اپنی بیوی کو طلاق بتہ (یعنی بائنہ غیر رجعی طلاق) دے دی، تو اس نے (یعنی ان کی بیوی نے) عبدالرحمن بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نکاح کر لیا۔ پھر نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آ کر استفسار کیا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممیں رفاعہ (رضی اللہ عنہ) کے عقد میں تھی کہ اس نے مجھے تین میں سے آخری طلاق دے دی تو میں نے عبدالرحمن بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نکاح کر لیا۔ اور اپنی چادر کا ایک پلو پکڑ کر کہنے لگی کہ اللہ کی قسم ان کے پاس تو کپڑے اس پلو کی طرح ہی ہے۔ راوی نے کہا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(اس کی بات سن کر) مسکرا دیئے اور فرمایا کہ شاید تم پھر رفاعہ (رضی اللہ عنہ) کے پاس لوٹنا چاہتی ہو، نہیں ایسا اس وقت تک نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ وہ تمہاری لذت نہ چکھ لے اور تم اس کی لذت نہ چکھ لو (یعنی جماع نہ کر لو)۔ (اس وقت) سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور خالد بن سعید بن عامی رضی اللہ عنہ حجرے کے دروازے پر اجازت کے منتظر تھے۔ راوی کہتا ہے کہ خالد رضی اللہ عنہ نے سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کو آواز دی کہ آپ اس عورت کو ڈانتے کیوں نہیں ہو کہ یہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے کیا کہہ رہی ہے؟[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 851]
