Narrated Umm al-Mu'minin A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): I never saw any woman more than Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) whom I would wish to be in her place. She was a woman of strong temperament. Then when she grew old, she gave her turn to A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have given my turn to A'ishah. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would stay with A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) for two days — one day for her own turn and one for Sawdah's (may Allah be pleased with her) turn. ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہمیں نے سودہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے بڑھ کر کسی عورت کو ایسا نہیں دیکھا کہ میں اس کے جسم میں ہونے کی آرزو کرتی، وہ تیز مزاج کی عورت تھیں۔ پھر جب وہ بوڑھی ہو گئیں تو اپنی باری عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو دے دی اور عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میں نے اپنی باری عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو دی۔ پس رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمعائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس دو دن رہتے، ایک دن ان کی اپنی باری کا اور ایک سودہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی باری کا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 841]
