Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The subject of coitus interruptus ('azl) was mentioned before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) said: "Why do you do this?" The Companions said: Sometimes a man has a wife who is nursing a child, and he has relations with her but dislikes that she become pregnant; and sometimes a man has a slave-girl, and he has relations with her but does not wish her to become pregnant. So he (peace be upon him) said: "Do not do that, for whether pregnancy occurs or not is by decree (qadr)." Ibn Awn said: I narrated this report to al-Hasan, and he said: By Allah, in it there is a rebuke against practicing 'azl. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 833]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس عزل کا ذکر ہوا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم یہ کیوں کرتے ہو؟ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ کسی وقت آدمی کے پاس ایک عورت ہوتی ہے جو کہ بچے کو دودھ پلاتی ہے، وہ اس سے صحبت کرتا ہے اور اس کے حاملہ ہونے کو ناپسند کرتا ہے اور کسی کے پاس ایک لونڈی ہوتی ہے، وہ اس سے صحبت کرتا ہے اور نہیں چاہتا کہ اسے حمل ہو۔ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس طرح نہ کرو؟ اس لئے کہ حمل ہونا نہ ہونا تقدیر سے ہے۔ ابن عون نے کہا کہ میں نے یہ روایت حسن سے بیان کی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ کی قسم اس میں جھڑکنا (ڈانٹ پلانا) ہے عزل کرنے سے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 833]
