Narrated Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to rest in the last part of the night in the bottom of the valley at Dhul-Hulayfa, and his (peace be upon him) messenger (an angel) came and it was said to him (peace be upon him), "You are in a blessed valley (Batha)." Musa the narrator says that Salim made our mount kneel at the place near the mosque where 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to make it kneel, and he used to seek out the place where the Prophet (peace be upon him) spent the night; and that place is below the mosque that is built in the depression of the valley, between the mosque and the qibla.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآخر شب ذوالحلیفہ میں بطن الوادی میں آرام فرماتے تھے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پالش (فرشتہ) آیا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کہا گیا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمبطحاء مبارکہ میں ہیں۔ موسیٰ راوی کا کہنا ہے کہ سالم نے ہماری سواری کو وہاں بٹھایا جہاں مسجد کے پاس سیدنا عبداللہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بٹھایا کرتے تھے اور وہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی رات گزارنے والی جگہ کو تلاش کرتے تھے اور وہ جگہ اس مسجد سے نیچے ہے جو وادی کے نشیب میں بنی ہوئی ہے اور جگہ مسجد اور قبلہ کے درمیان میں ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 765]
