Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): Mu'awiya bin Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) informed him. He said, "I clipped the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Marwa (hill) with the head of an arrow." (Or he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Marwa having his hair clipped with the head of an arrow.")
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہانہیں سیدنا معاویہ بن سفیان رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے مروہ (پہاڑی) پر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بال تیر کی بھال سے کترے۔ (یا یہ کہا کہ میں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو مروہ پر دیکھا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتیر کی بھال سے بال کتروا رہے ہیں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 760]
