Narrated the Commander of the Faithful 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded me to supervise his (peace be upon him) sacrificial camels, and to give away in charity their meat, hides, and saddle-cloths, and not to give the butcher his wages out of them. And 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that we would give the butcher his wages from our own means.
الترجمة الأردية
امیرالمؤمنین سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمجھے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے حکم فرمایا کہ میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے قربانی کے اونٹوں پر کھڑا رہوں اور ان کا گوشت، کھالیں اور جھولیں خیرات کر دوں اور قصاب کی مزدوری اس میں سے نہ دوں۔ اور سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ قصاب کی مزدوری ہم اپنے پاس سے دیں گے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 742]
