Narrated the Mother of the Believers 'A'isha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her): She said: On the night of Muzdalifa, the Mother of the Believers Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for permission to return to Mina ahead of him and to get ahead of the crowd of people, and she was a rather heavy (that is, stout) woman. The narrator said that he (peace be upon him) gave her permission, and she departed before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) turned back, while we stayed until we reached the morning and returned with the Prophet (peace be upon him). ('A'isha the Truthful, may Allah be pleased with her, says:) Had I too taken permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) had taken, and departed with his (peace be upon him) permission, that would have been excellent and better than that over which I was rejoicing.
الترجمة الأردية
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے کہا: ام المؤمنین سودہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مزدلفہ کی رات رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اجازت مانگی کہ آپ سے پہلے منیٰ کو لوٹ جائیں اور لوگوں کی بھیڑ بھاڑ سے آگے نکل جائیں اور وہ ذرا فربہ (یعنی بھاری) عورت تھیں۔ راوی نے کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کو اجازت دے دی اور وہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے لوٹنے سے قبل روانہ ہو گئیں اور ہم لوگ رکے رہے یہاں تک کہ ہم نے صبح کی اور نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ لوٹے (ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں) اگر میں بھی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اجازت لے لیتی جیسے سودہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے لی تھی اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی اجازت سے چلی جاتی تو خوب تھا اور اس سے بہتر تھا جس کے سبب سے میں خوش ہو رہی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 717]
