Narrated the Mother of the Believers 'A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): A man came and asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): My mother died suddenly and was not able to make a bequest; had she been able to speak, she would have given charity. If I give charity on her behalf, will she have reward for it? He (peace be upon him) said: "Yes."
الترجمة الأردية
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہایک شخص آیا اور اس نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا کہ میری ماں فوراً مر گئی اور وصیت نہ کرنے پائی، اگر بولتی تو صدقہ دیتی۔ اگر میں ان کی طرف سے صدقہ دوں تو اسے ثواب ہو گا؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا ہاں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 532]
