Narrated Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him): I prayed the prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). His prayer and his sermon were both of moderate length (that is, neither very long nor short). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 419]

سیدنا جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ نماز میں پڑھی ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نماز اور خطبہ (دونوں) درمیانے ہوتے تھے۔ (یعنی نہ بہت لمبا نہ چھوٹا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 419]
