Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) delivered the sermon, his eyes would become red, his voice would rise, and his anger would intensify, as though he were one warning of an army, saying it would come in the morning or the evening. And he would say, "I and the Hour have been sent together like these two fingers," and he would join his index finger and middle finger to show this. And after praising Allah he would say, "Know that the best of all speech is the Book of Allah, and the best of all guidance is the way of Muhammad (peace be upon him). And the worst of all affairs are the newly invented ones, and every innovation in worship is misguidance." Then he would say, "I am closer to every believer than his own self. So whichever believer dies leaving wealth, it belongs to his family; and whoever leaves a debt or dependents, their care is my responsibility and their maintenance is upon me." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 410]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب خطبہ پڑھتے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی آنکھیں سرخ ہو جاتیں اور آواز بلند ہو جاتی اور غصہ زیادہ ہو جاتا۔ گویا وہ ایک ایسے لشکر سے ڈرانے والے تھے کہ صبح آیا یا شام آیا اور فرماتے تھے کہ میں اور قیامت یوں اکٹھے بھیجے گئے ہیں جیسے یہ دو انگلیاں، اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انگشت شہادت اور درمیانی انگلی ملا دکھاتے اور حمد و ثناء کے بعد فرماتے کہ جان لو کہ ہر بات سے بہتر اللہ کی کتاب ہے اور سب سے بہتر محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا راستہ ہے۔ اور سب کاموں سے برے نئے کام ہیں اور عبادت کا ہر نیا طریقہ گمراہی ہے۔ پھر فرماتے کہ میں ہر مومن کا اس کی جان سے زیادہ دوست ہوں۔ تو جو مومن مر کر مال چھوڑ جائے وہ اس کے گھر والوں کا ہے۔ اور جو قرض یا بچے چھوڑے تو ان کی پرورش میری طرف ہے اور ان کا خرچ مجھ پر ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 410]
