Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When the first third of the night has passed, Allah descends every night to the lowest heaven and says, 'I am the King, I am the King. Who is there to call upon Me that I may answer him? Who is there to ask of Me that I may give him? Who is there to seek My forgiveness that I may forgive him?' And He continues thus until the dawn shines bright." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 389]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جب اول تہائی رات گزر جاتی ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ ہر رات کو آسمان دنیا کی طرف اترتا ہے اور فرماتا:”میں بادشاہ ہوں“”میں بادشاہ ہوں“، کون ہے جو مجھ سے دعا کرے کہ میں قبول کروں؟ کون ہے جو مجھ سے مانگے کہ میں اسے دوں؟ کون ہے جو مجھ سے مغفرت مانگے کہ میں اسے بخش دوں؟ غرض کہ صبح روشن ہونے تک ایسا ہی فرماتا رہتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 389]
