Narrated Alqamah: I asked the Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), "What was the state of the worship of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? Did he single out any particular day for worship?" She said, "No, rather his worship was constant. And who among you can worship as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) could?" [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 377]

علقمہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی عبادت کا کیا حال تھا؟ آیا کسی دن کو عبادت کے لئے خاص فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں بلکہ ان کی عبادت ہمیشہ تھی۔ اور تم میں سے کون آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی سی عبادت کر سکتا ہے جو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکر سکتے تھے؟[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 377]
