Narrated Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him): I took part in the Battle of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). One morning, before the Fajr prayer, at that place of Tabuk, he went out to relieve himself, and I went with him carrying a jug of water. After relieving himself, when he came back, I poured water on his hands. He first washed his hands three times, then washed his face; he wished to raise the sleeves of his cloak over his arms, but its sleeves were narrow, so he brought his two hands out from beneath the cloak and washed them up to the elbows, and after that he wiped over his leather socks. Then I set out with him, and when we reached there, we saw Abdur-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) leading the prayer. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed one rak'ah behind him. Abdur-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him), having prayed the two rak'ahs, gave the salam, and saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up to complete the prayer with the second rak'ah. The Muslims were alarmed to see this and recited tasbih abundantly. Then, after finishing the prayer, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "You did well." He expressed his pleasure that the people had performed the prayer on time. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 320]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ جنگ تبوک میں شرکت کی۔ ایک صبح قبل نماز فجر اسی مقام تبوک میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمرفع حاجت کے لئے روانہ ہوئے اور میں پانی کا لوٹا لئے ہوئے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ تھا۔ رفع حاجت کے بعد جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتشریف لائے تو میں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہاتھوں پر پانی ڈالا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پہلے تین مرتبہ ہاتھ دھوئے پھر منہ دھویا، جبہ کو بازوؤں پر چڑھانا چاہا لیکن اس کی آستینیں تنگ تھیں اس لئے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے جبہ کے نیچے سے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ نکال کر کہنیوں تک دھوئے اور اس کے بعد موزوں پر مسح کیا۔ پھر میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ روانہ ہوا، جب ہم وہاں پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ نماز پڑھا رہے ہیں۔ چنانچہ ان کے پیچھے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک رکعت پڑھی۔ سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ نے دونوں رکعتیں پڑھنے کے بعد سلام پھیر کے دیکھا تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنماز پوری کرنے کی خاطر دوسری رکعت کے لئے کھڑے ہو گئے تھے۔ مسلمان یہ دیکھ کر گھبرا گئے اور انہوں نے بکثرت تسبیح پڑھی۔ پھر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے بعد فراغت نماز فرمایا کہ تم لوگوں نے اچھا کیا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس پر خوشی کا اظہار کیا کہ لوگوں نے وقت پر نماز ادا کی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 320]
