Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "When the imam says 'Amin,' then the followers should also say 'Amin,' and whoever's 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) states that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say 'Amin' (after 'wa lad-dallin').
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: امام جب آمین کہے تو مقتدی بھی آمین کہیں اور جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین کے برابر ہو جائے گی تو اس کے گزشتہ گناہ معاف کر دئیے جائیں گے۔ ابن شہاب رحمہ اللہ کا بیان ہے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(ولاالضّآلّین کے بعد) آمین کہا کرتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 284]
