Narrated Abu Basra Al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed the Asr prayer with us at (the place) Mukhammas and said, "This prayer was presented to those before you, and they neglected it. So whoever safeguards it will have a double reward, and there is no prayer after it until the witness appears." And the witness means the star (that is, until the star comes out).
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوبصرہ غفاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہمارے ساتھ عصر کی نماز (مقام) مخمص میں پڑھی اور فرمایا کہ یہ نماز تم سے پہلوں کے سامنے پیش کی گئی اور انہوں نے اس کو ضائع کیا۔ پھر جو اس کی حفاظت کرے، اس کو دوگنا ثواب ہو گا اور اس کے بعد کوئی نماز نہیں جب تک کہ شاہد نہ نکلے۔ اور شاہد سے مراد ستارہ ہے (کہ ستارہ نکل آئے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 215]
